A leisure centre is offering a range of activities to improve the fitness levels of kids during half term.
Westminster Lodge in St Albans is offering a variety of sport activities during the week to help children remain healthy due to the lack of PE lessons while they are home for half term.
These include a four-day swimming crash course from May 28 to May 31 for £28 and Fit for Sports Activity camps for children aged five to 12.
On May 31 there will also be a Mavericks Netball camp for 10 to 13-year-olds and a gymnastics and trampoline camp on May 28 and May 30 for children five and over.
Everyone Active contract manager Lesley Garner said: “By offering activities throughout half term we can help local youngsters keep active as well as easing the pressure on their parents.
“Our range of activities provide a great opportunity for youngsters to meet new friends while learning skills. With a choice of activities running throughout the week there is something for everyone to enjoy.”
