A stately home in Hertfordshire is holding an event next week themed around one of the most popular girl bands of all time.

On Friday, June 7, Ashridge House in Berkhamsted is holding a Spice Girls-themed evening which will feature original costumes and a screening of the feature film Spice World.

Spice Girls is a British musical comedy starring the five members of the phenomenally successful girl band as they try to navigate the perils of fame.

Iconic Spice Girls costumes will be on display including the Suzanne Neville dress worn by Geri Halliwell at the London Olympics Closing Ceremony, plus a book signing with Alan Smith-Allison, author of The Secret Diary of a Spice Boy.

Guests are invited to bring a picnic or take advantage of the barbecue that will be on site.
