Police in Russet Drive yesterday
Several police officers were called to a residential street yesterday after reports of an attempted burglary.
There was a heavy police presence in Russet Drive in the Highfield area of St Albans at around 3pm.
Initial reports were that two people had tried to break into a home. Two men were arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary.
• A 22 year old man from London and a 40 year old man from St Albans have been released on police bail until June 23 while enquiries continue.
