A girl was shopping with her father when she noticed a man staring at her exposing himself.
Just before 1pm yesterday, in Wilko in the The Maltings, St Albans, a man exposed himself in full view of a young girl.
He then paid for items at the till and left the store. He was seen walking into the shopping centre car park onto Kent Road before walking off towards Marlborough Road.
Police carried out a search of the area but could not find the suspect.
Police have released a CCTV image of man (pictured below) they would like to speak to as they believe he may have information which could help with their investigation.
PC Lee Hammond from the St Albans safer neighbourhood team said: “This was an understandably unsettling incident for the victim and I want to reassure both the victim and the community that we are doing all we can to identify the person responsible."
