A home care company has received the highest possible rating by the Care Quality Commission.

Home Instead Senior Care based in St Albans has received an overall Outstanding rating for its exceptional care it provides to elderly people in their own home.

The service offers companionship that allows older people to live independently, inspectors found clients were truly respected and valued and they received praise across all areas.

Inspectors also found there was a strong person-centred culture in the organisation. Staff and clients felt positive as a result.
