Food and fun united the community again for a Jewish charity's annual event.
Schoolchildren from Borehamwood, Elstree, and Radlett took part in Jewish Care’s 7th Great Jewish Bake Day.
They baked, iced, and decorated challah, cakes, biscuits, and fruit alongside care home residents, community centre members, staff, and volunteers.
Among the schools involved were Yavneh School, Gilah Nursery School, and Hertsmere Jewish Primary School (HJPS).
Pupils from HJPS were accompanied by chef Denise Phillips, as they joined residents at Anita Dorfman House in Stanmore.

Jewish Care’s director of fundraising and community engagement, Adam Overlander-Kaye, said: "It is fantastic to see so many smiling faces as the youngest to the oldest members of our community get together to enjoy the Great Jewish Bake Day across the generations.
"Food really does bring us together and I’d like to thank everyone for taking part in activities and bake sales to help support older members of the community, including members of community centres and residents in our care homes. The community's enthusiasm has made it a real treat to get involved in the Jewish Care’s 7th Bake Day. Bake sales are still taking place so if you haven’t held one yet, it’s not too late to invite your family and friends to take part."
