A classic rock album will be performed live in St Albans this weekend.
The Goldhawks will recreate The Who’s masterpiece rock opera album, Tommy, on the Alban Arena stage on Saturday, July 20, in what is the album’s 50th anniversary year.
World-class, eight-piece band, The Goldhawks are fronted by Doug Freeman, arguably regarded as the world’s greatest ever live tribute to Roger Daltrey, and together Doug and the band faithfully recreate the Who’s music.
Appealing to generations both young and old, the show contains bespoke film footage, together with sound effects as performed on the album, and is supported by stunning lighting to enhance and add to the quality of the performance.
The Alban Arena, Civic Centre, St Albans, Saturday, July 20, 7.30pm. Details: 01727 844488 alban-arena.co.uk
