An annual garden party raised nearly £2,000 for a children's charity.
Schopwick Place in Elstree hosted the NSPCC Garden Party on Sunday for an afternoon of entertainment in the summer sunshine.
The Mayor of Elstree & Borehamwood, Cllr Simon Rubner, opened the event, which would provide live music, artwork, and a craft fair.

Borehamwood Brass, led by conductor Derek Holland, and electric guitarist Paul Lomax played throughout the day while visitors enjoyed other activities that had been laid on at the six acre Victorian garden.
Stalls sold small gifts while there were refreshments of homemade cakes.

Sculptures made by artist John Somerville lined the croquet lawn.
And two miniature Shetland ponies from Cecil's Horse Sanctuary in Elstree were especially welcome.
Borehamwood Brass provided live music
The afternoon raised £1,860 for the NSPCC.
Ann Goddard, chairman of Elstree & Borehamwood NSPCC thanked Norman and Ann Shuker for their help in running the event and providing the grounds, and for everyone who helped put the event together, and donated to the NSPCC.
