A pedestrian died after a car which failed to stop, crashed into the victim.
Police were called to Honeypot Lane, Stanmore, near the Honeypot Medical Centre, at 11:08pm on Friday (August 23) following reports that a car crashed into a pedestrian.
The 39-year-old male pedestrian sadly sustained multiple injuries and died at the scene.
Later, a 29-year-old man attended a north west London police station and was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop. He was interviewed and released under investigation.
Enquiries are ongoing and detectives are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or may have dash-cam footage of the events leading up to it, to make contact.
