A man was flown to hospital by air ambulance yesterday.
Emergency services were called to playing fields in Shenley Lane, London Colney, at 3.47pm after receiving a call from a member of the public.
A man in his 30s was found injured and he was taken to hospital by air ambulance.
He is expected to make a full recovery.
Shenley Lane was closed between Napsbury Park and the A414 while paramedics and police responded to the incident.
