A murder investigation has been launched after a man was stabbed to death this afternoon.
Met Police were rushed to Blossom Lane, Lavender Hill, Enfield to reports of a stabbing just after 1pm.
A crime scene was established but the victim was not at the scene.
Police say a man in his 20s presented himself at a north London hospital suffering from stab wounds a short time later.
He died in hospital at 2.21pm.
A Met Police spokesperson said: "A post-mortem examination will be scheduled in due course and we await formal identification.
"Enquiries are underway to notify the victim’s next of kin.
"At this early stage there have been no arrests."
Road closures are in place in Lavender Hill near the crime scene. Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
