“Literally grabbed the baby from the garden and legged it” this was one of the many Facebook posts in June to describe the sonic boom caused by two RAF Typhoon jets.

Stansted Airport confirmed the military aircraft was used to escort a Jet2 flight into land because of a disruptive passenger on board.

There were several posts on social media and one user said they thought it was a terror attack.

Jayne Bensusan Barry posted: “The house shook, our neighbours windows sucked inwards and back out again.

“I was convinced it was a terror attack at Stansted it was that loud. Absolutely terrifying.”

The inquest into the death of Mike Thalassitis heard the Love Island star who was found dead in woodland had downed a cocktail of alcohol and cocaine.

The 26-year-old was found hanging near his home in Edmonton, North London back in March by a woman out jogging.

Mike appeared on the third season of the ITV reality show and was a semi-pro footballer with plans to set up a restaurant in Essex.

His mother described him as a wonderful son and brother.

Chigwell Riding Trust for Special Needs on Grange Farm Centre, Chigwell announced its open day to encourage less able-bodied children to try horse riding.

Club Member, George, who has a disability which affects his mobility is one of the many children to use the centre.

George’s mother, Danielle said: “He looks forward so much to his lesson on Tansy – his favourite pony – every week.”
