A woman who was stabbed to death just before Christmas has been named by police.
Jolanta Jakubowska, 50, was found with stab wounds at a house in Clarke Way, Watford after Hertfordshire Constabulary were called to reports of a stabbing on Monday, December 16, 2019.
Ms Jakubowska was pronounced dead at the scene.
The force said the incident is being treated as "isolated".
A 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at St Albans Crown court on Friday, December 20, 2019, accused of murdering Ms Jakubowska.
He was remanded in custody by Judge Michael Kay QC.
The judge set a plea hearing for Friday, March 6 with a provisional trial date for Monday, May 11.
