Hundreds of fans queued for a rare opportunity to watch the premier of BBC’s Bafta award-winning comedy This Country.
Over 25,000 applications were submitted via an online portal which randomly selected only a few hundred successful winners.
They got to watch the first two episodes of the final series of the mockumentary show with star cast members brother and sister Daisy May Cooper and Charlie Cooper, who play cousins Kerry and Kurtan Mucklowe.
The one-off sneak preview was held in the actors' home town of Cirencester at the historic venue of Bingham Hall.
Echoes of laughter filled the grand hall instantly as the first episode began to play but there were some emotional moments from the crowd during the first episode.
After the two episodes had finished, there was a roar of applause and whistles from the audience in admiration.
While on stage both Charlie and Daisy switched into their characters performing fan favourite moments from the show which included singing the birthday song to an audience member and shouting the peepers sketch at their dad who was sat amongst the crowd, he plays Martin Mucklowe Kerry’s dad.
The cast and film crew enlightened everyone to some of the shows secrets and talked about what it has been like to write, film and produce the series over the past three years.
