Buses have been requested to run in place of the cancelled services.
National Rail has advised passengers to use their tickets on the 321 Arriva bus route between Watford and St Albans Abbey.
This comes following a day of disruption on the Abbey Line. Earlier this morning a faulty train meant no trains were running between Watford Junction and St Albans Abbey until 1pm.
