- There have been at least 50 cases of Covid-19 coronavirus in Hertfordshire, as of 9am yesterday.

- There have been 103 deaths and a further 676 cases confirmed in the UK, Public Health England said. Across the country, there have been at at least 2,626 coronavirus cases.

- Up to 40 stations on the London Underground network are to be shut. From Friday, the Waterloo and City line will shut completely and from Monday TfL said it would gradually reduce other parts of its network.

- At yesterday's daily briefing, the government announced that all schools in the UK will be closed from Friday. But children of key workers and the most vulnerable, will still be provided with some form of daily schooling/care.
