Bin collections in Watford are running a day later than normal over Easter.
Watford Borough Council's contractor Veolia is collecting waste a day later than normal.
This means that any refuse due to be collected on Good Friday should have been collected on Saturday.
Waste due to be collected today (Easter Monday) will be collected tomorrow (Tuesday, April 14).
This will continue until the weekend, with collections for Friday, April 17 taking place on Saturday.
Collections will return to normal next Monday (April 20).

The council is urging households to help slow the spread of coronavirus and protect the collection crews by washing their hands before and after they put their bins out and disinfecting bin handles before and after collections.
- Watford Borough Council has taken the decision to suspend the borough’s green waste collection from April 20 to ensure the core waste and recycling service continues to be delivered to Watford residents during the Covid-19 pandemic.
This means that the green waste collection people have until Friday, April 17 will be their last until further notice. Once they have had their final green bin collection, households should put all food waste into their black bins until the current emergency is over.
Any garden waste people generate could be home composted or left until the service is resumed.
