A man was arrested in suspicion of possession of drugs and dangerous driving after a police chase.
Officers began the chase in the Gallows Hill area of Abbots Langley on Saturday (May 23) at around 8.30pm, when they tried to stop a car but the driver drove off.
Police searched for the car around Abbots Langley with the involvement of a helicopter from the National Police Air service.
The helicopter was seen hovering near South Way, Leavesden.
The car was spotted parked in Long Elms, Abbotts Langley.
A man aged 40 was arrested on suspicion of several offences.
He was suspected of carrying heroin and cannabis, driving dangerously and without insurance and failing to stop for police.
Hertfordshire Constabulary also say the man was suspected of driving a car without consent.
The man was later released under investigation. Enquiries continue.
