    The M1 has been brought to a standstill for the second day running.

  • The northbound entry slip road at junction 5 for Watford was also temporarily closed, but at around 1.45pm the slip road reopened.

  • Traffic is now slow northbound between junction 5 and junction 6, with severe queues from junction 6A.

  • Yesterday, a serious collision near Hemel Hempstead and a crash near Bricket Wood caused severe traffic delays on the M1.
