A 17-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of robbing an elderly woman on a Sidcup bus.

Police made a public appeal following the incident, which took place aboard a 233 bus at about 12.30pm on June 29.

Metropolitan Police said the suspect boarded the bus and refused to pay, before arguing with the driver and threatening to spit at him.

Before he left the bus, he allegedly grabbed the woman's phone and kicked her husband's walking stick.
