A PUPIL at a university technical college has secured his place at Cambridge University.
Aidan from UTC Oxfordshire in Harwell will study for a degree in Physical Natural Sciences at the prestigious university in September.
He said: “The staff at UTC made the school feel like a community through their passion for the school and its students with the relentless emails about upcoming apprenticeships and university opportunities and the help with the Cambridge application process.

“As a STEM student, I have felt very supported. The help in getting work experience, writing my EPQ (extended project qualification) within a year and arranging practice interviews made my university application process very smooth.”
Students Yufan Kambang and William Hemery will study Medicine at Birmingham and Exeter Universities and Lucy, who achieved A*A*A, will study Natural Sciences at Durham University.
