The scene of the crash on the A27 near Shoreham
POLICE closed off two out of three lanes on the A27 after a crash.
The accident was reported on the eastbound carriageway near the Shoreham flyover this afternoon.
Images from the scene show one vehicle in the inside lane awaiting recovery.
Road policing units had coned off two lanes and short queues had formed.
It is understood that the incident has cleared. It follows warnings from police for motorists to take care on as thunderstorms can cause a risk of spray on the roads.
