The latest offer is that people who enter the lottery before October 31 will join existing members in being in with the chance of winning a Family Forest Staycation.

The prize is a break worth £500 with Forest Holidays who have a variety of locations in some of the UK’s forests from Scotland to Cornwall and Snowdonia to Norfolk.

Councillor Andrew McHugh, Cherwell District Council’s Lead Member for Health and Wellbeing said: “The Cherwell Community Lottery is going from strength to strength and we are happy to be able to offer this new prize.

"Community good-causes are benefitting and local residents are experiencing the warm feeling of entering a lottery that they know could both benefit them and provide much-needed support to organisations within their own community. I would encourage everyone who lives in the Cherwell area to join up."

The draw is on October 31 and the results will be notified at 8pm on the Cherwell Lottery website.
