The most expensive and cheapest places to park in the city have been revealed.

Christopher Place car park was named as the most expensive in the area, according to data compiled by car finance experts Zuto.

The average daily rate to park here is £21.

London Road followed suit as the second most expensive by charging motorists a daily rate of £10.90.

Russell Avenue, Drovers Way and Adelaide Street will also set drives back the same rate.

But on the other end of the scale, St Albans Station Way came out on top as the cheapest place to park.

It charges drivers a daily rate of £3.65, the same as St Albans Ridgmont Road.

Bricket Road North, Townsend Avenue and Gombards all charge a rate of £5.40.

Zuto analysed car parks in over 40 cities across the UK to reveal the cheapest and the most expensive places to park within a 25-minute walking distance of each city centre.

Nationally, it found that Wolverhampton was on the top of the list for the cheapest cities for parking by offering an average daily rate of £1.90.

Bradford and Kingston Upon Hull were named second and third while the London was called the most expensive city for parking charging motorists an average daily rate of £53.80.
