SAINTS' last gasp Super League Grand Final win over rivals Wigan will give townsfolk a bounce through the winter off-season.
Jack Welsby's try - after the hooter - will have had fans bouncing around their living rooms to ape the celebrations unfolding on the pitch.
Some players, like James Graham, waited anxiously to get the green light from the video ref before showing their jubilation.
But most of the squad - and a few of the backroom staff - took their lead from scorer Welsby who was never in any doubt that he was onside and had got the ball down well within the dead-ball line.
There was no stopping Kevin Naiqama who leapt on top of the group.
The celebrations lasted so long that Saints even spurned the option to concert it. Not that it counted, the game was won - the party was getting ready to start.
Bernard Platt captured all of those try celebrations which brought the curtain down on a long, uncertain and disrupted 2020 and confirmed Saints as back-to-back champions.
