Two teenage boys have been arrested after a police car was vandalised while a PCSO was sat in the vehicle.
At around 5.25pm on Tuesday, an officer was sat in her police car on Seasiders Way in Blackpool, when she was approached by between six and eight teenagers.
The group began throwing objects, causing damage to the vehicle, as well as banging the windows and trying to open the doors.
The officer called for support before the offenders ran away.
A spokesperson for the police said: "A short time later we received further reports of anti-social behaviour in the South Shore area, with mounted and armed response officers attending.
"Around 6.40pm police received a report that a man had been attacked outside the Aldi store in Waterloo Road, suffering facial injuries.
"Two teenagers were arrested a short time later.
"The two boys, aged 15 and 14, both from Blackpool, were arrested on suspicion of assault.
"They have been released under investigation pending further enquiries."
