Three people have been injured after a crash involving a car and a motorbike.
Police and two air ambulances were called to the junction of Harpenden Road and Batchwood Drive today (January 4) at around 1.50pm, following reports of the crash.
Three people are said to be injured from the incident, one of whom were transported to St Marys Hospital with serious injuries.
A spokesperson for the East of England Ambulance Service said two other patients were taken to Watford General Hospital and Luton and Dunstable Hospital.
The road remains closed for the time being.
