The Met Office is currently forecasting snow for Watford as shoppers flock back to the town centre.
Bargain hunters have been braving the 3C conditions as non-essential shops reopened for the first time in months this morning.
No snow has fallen yet, but the forecast warns we could see light showers at any moment before the temperature slowly rises as the day progresses.
By noon it is set to be 6C with sun and cloud, before getting up to around 9C by 5pm - just in time for pub-goers visiting the gardens.
Watford's indoor shopping centre Atria Watford has confirmed most of its retailers will be opening today, with its owners saying they are "extremely excited" to welcome shoppers back.
Currently there are more than 100 people queuing outside Primark with many more milling around the town centre.
