- A car flipped onto its roof on the M25 this morning causing severe delays.

- All traffic was held following the crash which happened on the anticlockwise carriageway between junction 21 for the M1 and junction 20 for the A41 and Kings Langley.

- Traffic maps suggest the crash has happened near the exit slip road at junction 20.

- Police officers and highways officers were able to open one lane soon after and although all lanes reopened at around 12.30pm, it didn't prevent delays of at least 40 minutes. All of the delays have now cleared.

- Police have confirmed they received an emergency call at around 9.45am and a photo taken by an officer on scene shows a silver car overturned. Hertfordshire Constabulary says all those inside the vehicle were out once police had arrived.

- The lane closures on the M25 caused tailbacks on the motorway and queues on local routes too, including the A414 near Park Street and the A405 between Bricket Wood and Garston.
