Trains are now running normally between St Albans and Sutton after disruptions were caused by an accident in London.
A vehicle collided with a bridge between Streatham and Elephant & Castle and was causing disruption to trains that run between St Albans and Sutton.
Thameslink said that as a safety precaution, all trains were at a stand until the bridge had been inspected for any damage.
According to Thameslink, Network Rail were expected on site at approximately 5.40pm and trains will not move before this time.
The bridge has been inspected and trains are now able to run normally over the bridge.
