Many Tears Animal Rescue has issued an urgent plea for volunteers.

The rescue centre has had a large intake of dogs over the last week and volunteers are needed to bath and groom them.

A post on the rescue centre’s Facebook page is asking for anyone who can volunteer to come forward and help at Many Tears.

Volunteers must be over 18 but can turn up any day to help from 9am.

The centre is also looking for dog food and a groomer.

Can you help Many Tears Animal Rescue?

A post on the group’s Facebook page said: “We have a lot of new arrivals due this week and are in urgent need of Arden Grange Sensitive Puppy/Junior dry food.

South Wales Argus:

“We have added this to our Amazon wishlist and would be so grateful if anyone was able to donate a bag of this to help them as we find it is especially good for sensitive little tummies.”

You can see the wishlist here.

They are also looking for volunteers to help the new intake of dogs.

The post said: “We will need help booking in the new dogs, assessing their personalities, bathing them, cleaning the kennels, and of course cuddling and socialising them. If you are able to help you can just turn up at the rescue at 9am.

South Wales Argus:

“We are also hoping there may be an experienced groomer who was able to volunteer their time this weekend in our grooming room to help make some of our arrivals feel more comfortable by bathing and grooming them.

“Thank you all so much for your support. We would not be able to help the sheer number of dogs we do without all of your continuous, unwavering support.”

Many Tears Animal Rescue is based at Cwmlogin House in Cefneithin, Llanelli.
