We all have that one favourite place to eat, drink and hang out with friends or family.
And a lot of the time it’s at a good old pub – revelling in atmosphere, good alcohol and grub.
But, as with anything, pubs don’t last forever and we’ve seen plenty of out with the old and in with the new around the area.
We asked News Shopper readers which closed down pubs they missed the most, and here’s our list of the most popular ones:
The Rising Sun, Elmer’s End
The Director General, Woolwich
The Dover Patrol, Kidbrooke
Jolly Farmers, Crayford
Sir John Morden, Lewisham
Coach and Horses, Blackheath Hill
The Dartmouth, Catford
The Queen’s Arms, Hither Green
The Plough and Harrow, Catford
Townhouse, Bromley
Prince of Wales, Erith
Boundary, Erith
The Drayman, Bexleyheath
Pheasant, Erith
The Royal Bell, Bromley
Rat and Parrot, Bexleyheath
Gin Palace, Old Kent Road
The Harrow, Erith
