Takeaway fans in Harrow were able to enjoy free food as Wagamama opened a new takeaway kitchen.

The pan-Asian restaurant chain marked the opening of its new kitchen in Harrow town centre over the Jubilee weekend with food trucks that gave away free samples of two of its popular dishes.

The firm said the opening on June 6 was responding to growing demand for Asian and plant-based dishes in Harrow.

The new Wagamama delivery kitchen will be able to deliver to surrounding areas including South Harrow, Rayners Lane, Sudbury Hill, Kenton, Stanmore, Hatch End and Carpenders Park.

Those who missed out on the free dishes will still be able to take advantage of free delivery for two weeks after the opening.

Harrow Times:

Wagamama marketing manager Sita Dobbs said: “We’re so pleased to see how excited locals are that Wagamama has arrived in Harrow! This is a brilliant location for our latest delivery kitchen.

“The team can’t wait to start serving our fresh bowls, delivered straight to the doors of our loyal fans in Harrow.”

Last year Wagamama made half their menu plant-based, which it says is one of the most powerful choices consumers can make in the fight against climate change.
