Seven Herts roads won in the People's Postcode Lottery this month - with one lot of residents getting £30,000 each.

The county has a rich history in the competition, with some areas having won money on multiple occasions.

Residents take part in the People's Postcode Lottery by paying £10 per month, with winners receiving up to £30,000 each, if their postcode is chosen.

"Postcode Millions" winners can earn a share of £3 million or more.

1. Dymokes Way, Hoddesdon

Following a run of 19 £10 wins, residents at EN11 9QW were treated to a much larger sum in October.

The address at Dymokes Way, Hoddesdon, first won in 2015 as a result of a draw promoted by the Postcode Sport Trust.

Earlier this year, the site received another £10 in a Postcode Earth Trust draw.

Finally, on October 10, a Postcode Green Trust draw saw £1,000 awarded to the location.

2. Byrd Court, Stevenage

The postcode SG1 1WT is located at Byrd Court, in Stevenage.

The location won its £1,000 in a Postcode Culture Trust draw on Monday, October 24.

Prior to this win, the site had been awarded £10 on seven separate occasions.

Two prize vouchers have also been won by residents at the location, in May and June 2021.

3. Nathaniel Walk, Tring

Prior to last month, the most that Nathaniel Walk had won in the People's Postcode Lottery was £20.

This win came in a Sightsavers draw in August 2019.

No less than 23 separate £10 wins came prior to October 2022.

On Thursday October 20, locals at the Tring location were awarded £1,000 curtesy of a Postcode Global Trust draw.

4. Avon Drive, Stevenage

Another draw promoted by the Postcode Global Trust saw Stevenage's Avon Drive win its £1,000.

The SG1 3XZ site won this prize on Sunday, October 16.

Prior to this, Avon Drive residents had been awarded £10 18 times by the People's Postcode Lottery.

A £20 win also came 0n April 28, 2019.

5. Avenue Road, Hoddesdon

The largest win this month came on October 9, for residents of EN11 0BA.

The Avenue Road, Hoddesdon, location had only ever won £10 on the People's Postcode Lottery.

The postcode had been given this award on no less than 14 occasions.

However, last month a Postcode Education Trust draw awarded locals £30,000.

6. Redbourn Lane, Harpenden

Locals of Redbourn Lane, Harpenden, won £1,000 due to draw promoted by the Postcode Green Trust on October 8.

Prior to this, the site had won £10 on nine separate occasions.

These wins came between April 2015 and September 2022.

7. Puddlephat's Lane, Markyate

It was more of a treat than a trick for residents of Puddlephat's Lane this Halloween.

On the final day of October, residents of AL3 8AX were awarded £1,000 in a draw promoted by the Postcode Innovation Trust.

The location has won £10 on five separate occasions, in the People's Postcode Lottery, having first won in November 2020.
