A new photography exhibition called 'A Day in the Life' will feature work by a group of unpaid carers sharing snapshots into their lives.
The photographers attend a Carers' Camera Club supported by the charity Carers in Hertfordshire, and are holding their third exhibition at the Radlett Centre from January 5 to January 30, 2023.
A selection of the photographs will be in the Apthorp Gallery from December 2, 2022, with the full exhibition expanding into the Teatro Café early in the new year.
Originally, the free exhibition had been planned for 2020 but had to be postponed because of the Covid pandemic.

Club facilitators Ron and Sandy, who will have photographs on display, said: “The last couple of years have been challenging for us all and some of the 11 exhibitors have lost the loved ones for whom they were caring.
"This exhibition is a way to give a voice to the carers in the club by showing people what being a carer means and highlight some of the issues that carers are faced with.
"It allows members to show their work, demonstrate their talents and see their images as big prints, sometimes for the first time."
The processing, mounting, framing and development of an exhibition brochure were done by club members, enabling them to share their expertise and pass their skills onto each other.
Former councillors Lynn Chesterman OBE, Barbara Gibson, Nigel Quinton and Richard Smith helped fund the exhibition, and Ware Town Council provided space to prepare the images.
Some of the photos will be available to buy, with profits going to Carers in Hertfordshire.
Claire Protherough, who is the charity’s carers development and learning officer and supports the club, said: “We know carers value having time to themselves away from caring and this club enables them to socialise and enjoy their interests.
"The club has worked hard on the exhibition and there are some great pictures. If you have the chance, please go and look at their work.”
The Carers’ Camera Club meets monthly, usually in the Welwyn Hatfield area, and has online meetings and quiz nights. New members are welcome, whatever their level of photography skills or equipment.
Anybody who looks after somebody close to them who is elderly, disabled, misusing substances, or living with a mental or physical illness, is invited to join the club or ask for help related to their caring role.
