Take a short drive in a north-easterly direction out of Watford and histroric St Albans has some well known landmarks to enjoy. But have you ever seen a bird’s eye view of the Cathedral or Verulamium Park?
Back in June 2003, former Watford Observer photographer Pete Stevens took to the skies with Firecrest Aviation from Elstree to photograph Watford and surrounding areas.
During his flight, he captured views including the town centre, Watford FC, Leavesden Studios and The Grove which we have been featuring over the past two months.
