43 Hertfordshire teams are set to take part in a youth competition for football variant Futsal.

Futsal is played on a small hard court indoors, similar to five-a-side.

2023's Pokémon Futsal Youth Cup regional finals are set to begin in Hertfordshire this month, with football associations from across England taking part.

A 'National Finals' will result from the competition.

The full list of boys' Hertfordshire teams are:

  • Berkhamsted Raiders Youth
  • St Albans City Youth
  • London Colney Colts & Cougars
  • AC Finchley Youth
  • Bloomsbury Futsal
  • AC Finchley Youth
  • Welwyn Garden City Youth
  • Chiltern United FC
  • Letchworth Garden City Eagles
  • BSC FC Youth
  • Panshanger
  • Ware Youth

The following teams will be taking part in this year's girls' competition:

  • AC Finchley Youth
  • St Albans City Youth
  • Hitchin Belles Youth
  • Berkhamsted Raiders Youth
  • Bloomsbury Futsal
  • Chiltern United FC

Louise Gear, the FA’s head of development, said: “We are delighted to see so many teams register once again to take part in this year’s competition and we’re excited to see what the 2022/23 season brings.

"Thousands of children from clubs up and down the country will be participating in what promises to be an exciting and fun competition for all involved, and we look forward to seeing who will be crowned winners come the finals.”
