Radcliffe market traders were able to come in from the cold after a six month wait when the town’s market hall reopened in November 1980.
An arson attack in June had badly damaged the market hall, causing £70,000 worth of damage, forcing traders ‘outside’ while repairs were carried out.
But everyone was all smiles when the new-look stalls were unveiled in time for Christmas.
