THE new-look St Albans Sainsbury's store opened its doors this morning (Thursday, March 27), following an £8.2 million refurbishment and the creation of 100 new jobs.
With an extra 16,000sq ft of shopping space and more than 20 per cent of new lines, the store has been redesigned to offer customers a great new range of items for the home and wider choice of fresh foods.
Store manager Jon Houghton said: "The store has been completely transformed to meet shoppers' different needs and offer a greater choice across our ranges."
After exploring all the new shopping areas, customers will be able to enjoy a well-earned coffee break in the new "comfy cafe", which has been fitted out with easy chairs.
