REGULARS at The Inn on the Green in Harpenden can lay claim to the best drinkers award after the pub was rewarded for its high sales.
The pub in Leyton Road has won the High Street Sales Growth Award for its outstanding increase in sales over the past 12 months.
Its managers, Mick and Jackie Hill, were presented with the award at a ceremony in Birmingham by competition organisers Greene King Pub Company. The prize is given to the pub with the greatest sales increase in the last year.
The Cock in St Peter's Street, St Albans, was also named best cask ale pub of the year.
