THE warden of a nature reserve on the edge of Welwyn Garden City met Prime Minister Gordon Brown at 10 Downing Street last week.
Michael Clark, who manages Tewin Orchard Nature Reserve for the St Albans-based county wildlife trust was invited to a reception for environmental volunteers to recognise their commitment.
Mr Clark, a badger expert who has written several books on wildlife, discussed his work with Mr Brown, Secretary of State for Environment Hilary Benn and climate change minister Ed Miliband.
