A POSTIE has become an internet legend, after his colleagues filmed him performing an impromptu Michael Jackson moonwalk at his delivery office in St Albans.

Michael Izzard, from Hatfield, recreated some of the legendary pop idol’s famous moves during a five-minute routine to smash hit Billy Jean.

The footage, filmed at the Royal Mail depot in Brick Knoll Park, St Albans, has attracted more than 3,000 hits on video sharing site YouTube. It shows Michael, clad in Jacko's iconic trilby hat, saunter into the depot and suddenly break into dance when he hears the hit Billy Jean on the radio.

Michael, a self-confessed Jacko fan, has also been able to sell DVDs of the clip to raise money for the RSPCA.

Colleagues at the sorting office recorded Michael, who delivers mail in Welwyn Garden City, strutting his stuff on June 25 this year, before the king of pop died.
