THE council's noise expert has insisted his predictions of sleep disturbance from the railfreight terminal are accurate.
Simon Stephenson told the inquiry: “The method I have used is fairly robust in predicting noise levels.
“I have used it for many clients and I have also carried out detailed research on it.
“The noise includes not just noise within the site boundary but also from traffic associated with the scheme.
“It would be not just noticeable, but an extreme change.”
