STRIFE'S barrister has finished his cross-examination of planning consultant Richard Tilley, reiterating the need for a condition to control lorry movements.

Paul Stinchcombe said “You can't guarantee that a single train can get into or out of the SRFI.

“A condition linking lorry movements to train movements would ensure that if it is ever built it operates as a rail-to-road interchange, rather than a road–to-road interchange.”

The inquiry has adjourned until 9.30am tomorrow, although Mr Tilley's re-examination has been postponed until Monday afternoon.
