HAWK-EYED EastEnders fans should have captured a glimpse of a St Albans church during last night's gritty episode.
St Peter's Church, in St Peter's Street, provided the perfect setting for Walford's big wedding as characters Ricky and Bianca, played by Patsy Palmer and Sid Owen, tied the knot - for a second time.
But in soap land, nuptials rarely go according to plan, and yesterday's Enders wedding was not about to end the tradition.
Fiery redhead Bianca and her estranged mother Carol Jackson, played by Lindsay Coulson, began tussling among the gravestones before the happy couple finally performed their I do's.
The Review was lucky enough to get a sneak preview of the Albert Square action as film crews descended on the city to capture the wedding scenes throughout November and January.
Bianca and Ricky first married in 1997, but were divorced two years following gobby Bianca's illicit affair with her mum's fella.
But despite a nine-year break, the popular pair rekindled their romance at Christmas, with Ricky Butcher this time seizing the initiative.
To celebrate 25 years of the BBC1 soap, tonight's episode, in which we finally discover who killed villain Archie Mitchell, will be beamed live to our television screens.
