ANIMALS of all shapes and sizes will be on display at the Hatfield House Country Show, which runs from today until Sunday.

The Essex Dog Display team, including Bobby the dog and trainer Tiffany Dyer, pictured right, will be showcasing the skills of brave rescue dogs who will be demonstrating their retrieval techniques and even jumping through rings of fire.

Over in the traditional breeds arena, a celebrity guest will be picking out her favourites. Model and actress Elizabeth Hurley, who is a dedicated breeder of Gloucester Old Spot pigs, will be presenting two rosettes in two of the show's pig competitions.

There will also be horse and falconry displays, traditional crafts, plenty of entertainment for children and cookery demonstrations by celebrity chefs Jean-Christophe Novelli and Anthony Worrall Thompson.

The show will be open from 10am to 6pm today and 9am to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday.
