PUPILS at a Harpenden school are jumping for joy after receiving a grant to buy safety equipment for their trampoline.
Hertfordshire county councillor Bernard Lloyd, for Harpenden North East, has handed Roundwood Park School £700 from his locality budget to buy a pair of trampolining end decks, which prevent users falling off the end of the trampoline.
Councillor Lloyd said: "Trampolining is a fun and exciting way for youngsters to stay fit and active.
"School pupils and the wider community will benefit from the improved facilities that the end decks will provide."
