THE family of teenager Amelia Fairchild, who went missing four weeks ago from her Brookmans Park home, have made a heartfelt appeal for information on her whereabouts.

Amelia, who is aged 15, was last seen at about 4pm on Friday, August 26 at her home address on Bluebridge Avenue in the village.

Her cousin Samantha Lelliot said: “It is the four-week anniversary since Amelia went missing and we, her family, are desperate for information on her.

“She is like my sister and we are so close. She is a kind, beautiful and genuine person, with a lovely smile and she dotes on my twin sons. We are all missing her so much and just want to know she is safe and well.

“I live in Kingston, London, so in a different place to her, but it is very unlike Amelia not to get in touch for so long.

“I would just like to encourage Amelia, if she hears or reads this message, to just get in touch. Also, if any member of the public thinks they might know where Amelia is, I would ask them to please contact the police, so we can have her back safe and sound.”

Amelia is white, about 5 feet 4 inches tall, has very long dark, wavy hair which is usually back-combed up into a high ponytail and green eyes. She was wearing a black long-sleeved top with lace over it and brown ‘harem-style’ trousers. Amelia also has a number of piercings.

It is believed she could also be in the Croydon, Enfield, Kingston, Notting Hill or Brixton areas of London.

Family have been helping with police efforts to trace Amelia in the four weeks since she went missing, including poster appeals and working with various missing people charities.

Anyone with information can telephone the police non emergency number 101.
