Sharp-eyed Review readers have spotted St Albans Abbey's Knitivity characters which have been out and about round the district.

The hand-knitted figures have had a busy few days, paying a visit to Barclays bank in St Albans and also stopping by at Thomas Cook.

They were later whisked off to garden centre Ayletts, in North Orbital Road, where they were admired by shoppers.

The first to see the characters in their dfferent locations were the Eridani Ball family, Annette Aggett, six-year-old Ben Thrower and Julie Hollerton and her two daughters.

All entries have been entered into our prize draw.

The unique nativity scene, knitted by Ann Hudson, a Rainbow and Brownie leader for the cathedrals’ packs, is travelling round the district and will visit different landmarks in the run-up to Christmas.

The Review has teamed up with St Albans Abbey, which will be placing the Knitivity set at a different location every week.

If you see one, let us know which one and where you saw it by emailing revieweditor@london.newsquest.co.uk Children have the chance to win a cathedral goodie bag and have their photograph taken with the Knitivity, while adults could win a deluxe afternoon tea for two at the Abbot’s Kitchen, St Albans Cathedral.

The Knitivity returns to the abbey in time for Carols on the Hour on Saturday, December 17.
