EASTENDERS star Shona McGarty strutted her stuff on the catwalk at her former school in St Albans last week to raise money for a children's charity.
Shona, who plays Whitney Dean in the soap, visited Loreto College where students, studying NVQ in business and administration, hosted the fashion show as part of a study project to organise and take part in events.
The prom and evening dress show on March 14 was also attended by soldiers from the British Army.
The Rainbow Trust Children's Charity benefited from £1,083 which was raised at the event.
Loreto College student Valentina Maggio, who chose the charity, said: "I found out about Rainbow Trust on the internet and was really moved by the things I read. I chose this charity because I want to give other people an opportunity to support it."
Former pupil of the Hatfield Road school Shona also modelled dresses during the evening.
